We are delighted to announce that Pick Everard will proudly celebrate Armed Forces Day on 29 June 2024. This special day allows us to honour and recognise the invaluable contributions of the men and women who serve in the British Armed Forces, both past and present.

Armed Forces Day is a significant occasion for all of us at Pick Everard. It reminds us of the dedication, courage, and sacrifices made by military personnel to ensure our safety and freedom. As a firm committed to supporting the community, we will be present at several British Forces Resettlement careers events throughout the year, encouraging Service Leavers and Veterans to explore their next career path with Pick Everard.

Pick Everard has a long-standing tradition of supporting the Armed Forces community. We are proud of our initiatives to provide employment opportunities for veterans and reservists, acknowledging the unique skills and experiences they bring to our team. Our commitment is further reinforced by our partnerships with the Defence Employers Recognition Scheme and our pledge to the Armed Forces Covenant.

We invite everyone to join us in celebrating Armed Forces Day across the UK to honour those who have dedicated their lives to serving our country. Their bravery and commitment are the cornerstones of our freedom and security.

Happy Armed Forces Day from all of us at Pick Everard!

Pick Everard Supports Career Fair and Commemorates 80th D-Day Anniversary

Pick Everard's invaluable support at the BFRS Armed Forces Career Fair held at the Staffordshire Showground on June 6, 2024, was a tremendous success. This date also marked the 80th Anniversary of D-Day, and what better way to help commemorate our Armed Forces Personnel than by aiding them in their transition to employment after their service.

Over 200 attendees, including Service Leavers from the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, British Army, Royal Air Force, and existing Veterans, joined the British Forces Resettlement Services (BFRS) event, and we’re already seeing immediate results and promising future prospects from our participation.

The Pick Everard team was again warmly hosted by the event organisers and had the honour of meeting BFRS CEO Harry Dean, a former serving military officer himself, who personally thanked Pick Everard for our steadfast commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant.

BFRS events are designed to connect forward-thinking companies with exceptional talent from the Armed Forces Community. These events help gifted and highly skilled professionals discover and explore diverse industry sectors, gain insights into current job market trends, network, and understand the qualifications sought by employers. It's the perfect way to engage and draw in this untapped talent pool.

Pick Everard is proud to support such initiatives and looks forward to continuing our strong relationship with the Armed Forces Community. Thank you to everyone who continues to make these events a success!
