Pick Everard has won two prestigious RICS Awards with Nottingham Central Library picking up both the Community Benefit and Public Sector categories.

The £10.5m project, part of the Broad Marsh regeneration in Nottingham, provides an immersive, collaborative environment suitable for all ages.

The team provided project management, quantity surveying, principal designer, and NEC supervisor services, building on their recent work in the interconnecting public realm, including the Broad Marsh bus station and car park.

The library project was a collaborative effort with partners such as FaulknerBrowns Architects, Chord (M&E consultancy), and Morgan Sindall Construction, along with its fit-out division, Overbury. Commissioned via Perfect Circle and procured through SCAPE, this project focused on local investment, benefiting Nottinghamshire businesses and the wider Midlands region.

“We are dedicated to making a positive difference in our communities through our projects, so this award is an excellent achievement for the team and a testament to the hard work of all involved.

Our close collaboration across the whole team has resulted in a valued space for the local community, underpinning our ethos of delivering better, together. By engaging closely with local stakeholders and understanding their needs, we have developed a state-of-the-art facility that we hope will inspire a love of reading for generations to come.”

The winning schemes from the regional awards will be judged on a national level, with winners being revealed in October in London.
